• Won the Chuck Bednarik Award (nation’s top defensive player) and became 1st draft pick in Dolphins history to win the award.
• Won the Jim Thorpe Award (nation’s top defensive back) and became the second Dolphins draft pick to win the award, joining CB Jamar Fletcher in 2000.
• Became just the 3rd player in NCAA history to win both the Chuck Bednarik and the Jim Thorpe Award, joining CB Charles Woodson and CB Patrick Peterson.
